KVM (Kernal Level Virtual Server):
It is the real hardware virtualization.which is full virtualization. Mean If there is 16 GB RAM on dedicated server then they can only sell 16 vps of 1gb ram, or 8 vps of 2gb ram. also same with cpu cores. its really good VPS for your heavy load website, But few of Hosting providers are selling them.
OpenVZ:
-Better pricing since provider can oversell.
-Handles overselling well though
-Less overhead
-Easier backup
-Overselling is easy, but not so detrimental
-Not complete virtualization; all OS share kernel.
Xen:
-Dedicated servers
-Less likely to be oversold
-Higher overhead
-If oversold, you're basically be in loss.
-Pricing is higher for clients.
-It supports a wide range of guest operating systems including Windows®, Linux®, Solaris®.
